From Starlight Distillery in Indiana, this Carl T. straight bourbon gets finished in rum barrels, a twist that softens the grain and adds a layer of warm sweetness on top of the oak. Expect the caramel-and-vanilla backbone you look for in a bourbon, rounded out by the rum cask. It drinks well neat, but it also builds an interesting Old Fashioned if you want to show off the finish.
