Description
Westland made its name in Seattle building American single malt with a distinctly Pacific Northwest point of view. This first batch takes that base whiskey and finishes it in wine casks, a move that tends to weave a softer fruit and tannic edge through the malt’s natural graininess. As an inaugural release, it’s one for the shelf and the slow evening pour — neat or with a single cube.
